To help students successfully transition to online learning during the pandemic, HNU Cushing Library staff provide the following resources.

The Library Service Updates tab includes:

  • current information about access to the Cushing Library building
  • current information about contacting reference librarians for research help
  • current ways to access library resources 
  • current policies and procedures regarding library materials, such as returns, check-outs, renewals, and fines

The Reliable Online Sources tab includes:

  • a tutorial about finding reliable online sources for COVID-19 information
  • links to get your Coronavirus questions answered

The Online Learning tab includes:

  • summary and links to pages of Cushing Library's Distance Learning Guide
  • links to tips and tutorials for online learning

The Financial Aid, Food Help and other Community Resources tab includes:

  • financial help, food resources, state benefits, and safety resources for residents of California
  • financial help and food resources for residents of Alameda County 
  • a list of companies offering customer support financially

The Self-care tab includes:

  • tips for taking care of your mental and physical health
  • links to fun ways to take a break
