The Contemporary World is the last of the chronological courses in the Integrative Studies Across Cultures program. It examines the twentieth and twenty-first century in which issues of continuity and change, order and fragmentation, and the problem of meaning are explored. The course draws from the academic fields of literature, psychology, genetics, music, history, sociology, phsyics, art, and political science.
