Qualtrics and HNU Policies

Your survey may require institutional review. If you have questions about HNU's Institutional Review Board (IRB) process, either for your survey or in general, please contact HNU's IRB Committee, (irb@hnu.edu) or visit the HNU IRB web page for additional guidance. 

Human Subject Training

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals provides training for human subject research, "Ethics and Human Subject Protection: A Comprehensive Introduction." The certificate is free if you are not pursuing continuing education credits (select the Pricing Without Contact Hours option). Click here for course information. 

About Qualtrics

This guide provides help for getting started with and using Qualtrics online survey software. You can use Qualtrics to

create, distribute, and analyze web-based surveys.  Qualtrics is freely available to all HNU students, faculty and

staff at http://hnu.qualtrics.com. 

 

Create a Qualtrics account in 6 steps:

  1. Go http://hnu.qualtrics.com and click "Don't have an account?".
  2. Enter your HNU email address (Qualtrics will not create accounts with non-HNU addresses) and a password. 
  3. On the next page, enter your first and last name. Your phone number is optional.
  4. On the following page, select "Sign me up"
  5. Check your HNU email for your verification message and click on the verification link (this take you back to the Qualtrics website).
  6. Log in. You are now ready to create your first survey!
